Start with the place.
The landscapes around Las Vegas mean something to the people who live here. That personal connection became the center of the identity.
A brewery’s roots.
A clearer expression.
Across Tenaya Creek’s history, a connection to Nevada’s outdoors kept showing up: the wildlife, the surrounding landscapes, and the life people build around them.
Some products had wandered from that thread. I uncovered it, helped the brewery recognize it, and made it the foundation for a more deliberate creative direction.
The opportunity was to give an existing connection a clearer role. That meant looking at the whole brand before deciding what any individual can should look like.

Names, color, wildlife, and landmarks make room for different characters. Each design adds another view of the same region.
A shared structure lets the individual illustrations feel distinct and the family feel related. The system has to work at both scales.
Four designs. A closer look at the character of the collection.
The work brought together a refreshed visual identity, beer naming, and a new can collection. Seen together, the designs connect the brewery to the region while giving individual beers a personality.
That’s the part of branding I care about: finding something meaningful, then making the individual decisions support it.
40 original visuals. Nine can designs. A brand carried through every application.

A mountain silhouette and a forest palette connect the label to the landscape around Las Vegas.
Layered canyon shapes carry across the can, the full label, and its wider presentation.
Wildlife and the atmosphere of a campfire after dark become the character of this design.
Warm sandstone, an open road, and a desert sunset set a different tone within the same family.
A familiar local landmark anchors the name and the artwork, from flat label to finished can.
Two expressions of desert weather, with their own palettes and storm imagery.
The collection extends to a special can with a bright yellow palette and a local baseball connection.
The campaign carries the same idea beyond the packaging: a brewery rooted in Las Vegas, with the outdoors all around it.
Simple statements, recognizable scenery, and the collection’s color palette give the launch its own voice. These ten pieces show that language across the brand and the individual beers.
The illustrations also become wearable graphics. These apparel presentations show six beer identities moving from the can onto shirts, keeping each design’s character intact.
The website presentation brings the collection into one place. Landscape imagery, the individual beers, and the brewery’s story share the same visual direction.

A clear challenge.
An ambitious idea.
